The staff were very friendly and offered excellent wine recommendations, which were very good (especially the vino verde). The food was a mixed bag; the tapas were acceptable, but the main courses were rather mediocre. In short, a nice spot (located on an uphill walkway, fairly quiet despite the regular foot traffic) for a quick drink and a bite to eat, but not worth it for a full dinner.

Only customer. The concept is not clear . Wine bar? Or tapas? No real kitchen... Super expensive wine with cheap furniture, ambiance.... Both are okay but they have to choose. Really poor quality/price

Overpriced wine compared to other places in town. Service was very friendly. They solicit customers walking up the stairs the whole time. Felt very touristic instead of cozy spot on the steps for this reason. I ordered sardines and bread. The sardines were under seasoned and the bread was not anything special, but plain toasted bread. They have a decent wine list from different regions of Portugal. My wine was fine, nothing spectacular.
