Took my wife here for a surprise birthday meal, it was honestly stunning. One of the best meals we’ve ever eaten and felt so special to be celebrating her birthday there! A perfectly balanced mix of modern and traditional cooking, all enjoyed with the best wine!

All the dishes were very well executed (the raw fish pictured, with chive and citrus oil, was superb, as was the cured beef sirloin, smoked marrow sauce, and Madeira wine). Attentive service: we didn't appreciate/understand the grilled chicken with piripiri sauce, as it was very pink at the center (the owner was very keen to explain that it wasn't raw, but rather a result of the marinating and low-temperature cooking method), and we weren't charged for it. Aside from this perfectly handled misunderstanding, it's the place I'd return to if I ever returned to Lisbon.
