Really sweet, generous and genuine staff. Great atmosphere. Wine pairing and knowledge of staff is next level! Definitely pop in here for some cheese and pair with a wine they recommend!
Just a damn good wine bar. This popped up on our search for a wine tasting, and it exceeded expectations. João hooked us up for our last night in Lisbon, he was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and paired each with the food perfectly. The owner was there as well and made it a point to come up and speak with us and offer recommendations as well. We were on the hunt for a good port wine and this place succeeded. It was paired with the blue goat cheese and it was incredible. The staff were truly passionate about Portugal wines and knew their stuff. Multiple locals in the establishment, so not a tourist trap! It does get full since it’s a smaller place, and there are no reservations, so it is sort of luck of the draw if there’s a table available. They do a great job letting you know if someone is close to finishing if you want to wait around though. Highly recommend!
