A wonderfully authentic, not-too-busy area. Great, fresh food without any fuss, reasonable prices, and very friendly service. Although Lisbon has many restaurants, we ate here a couple of times because we simply felt comfortable and it wasn't a tourist trap.
Excellent service! Food are good especially cuttlefish. All food and drinks are in very reasonble price. Worth to go for a city walk and enjoy good food and services.
Much better than those in Baixa Chiado area!
O Tasco do Vigário is the real deal, a proper local tasca tucked away in Alfama’s quiet streets. The grilled chorizo and pork chop were incredible, simple and done right. Unpretentious, affordable, and full of character. Exactly the kind of place you hope to find when travelling!
I had a wonderful time; the ingredients were very fresh, the vegetables and fish were excellent, and the service was impeccable. Thank you for the warm welcome. I will definitely return on my next trip to Lisbon.
